Classes

 Each of our classes incorporate literature, singing, and hands-on music exploration. In all activities, we encourage parent-child relationship building as well as socialization between the children. Each class will offer opportunities for children to practice gross and fine motor skills while experimenting with rhythm instruments and other manipulatives.

Our program is unique in that each of our teachers are classically trained. Melanie is a professional musician who continues to perform throughout the community in a variety of capacities. Her specific instruments are violin, piano, guitar, mandolin, organ and ukulele. Amy is an accomplished violinist, guitarist and plays ukulele and mandolin. Rose Anne studied voice for many years, and also plays the piano. We will incorporate these instruments into the lessons to enrich the children's experiences.

We have carefully selected monthly themes to help teach children about our world. Generally, we will continue to sing and play the same songs over the course the month so children and their parents will become familiar with the music. A schedule will be sent to parents after registration is complete.

Classes are divided into eight week sessions. We have a cap of 10 children per class. We do this to keep the class sizes intimate and to give your child space to play, learn, and explore. 

Parents or caregivers are required to stay for the duration of the class and are responsible for their child(ren). We encourage exploration and socialization! Children are not expected to sit still and be quiet; this is an opportunity for your child to learn and move freely.
